Excluding water, the top 5 ingredients in the INCI list are:

- Butanediol: helps hydrate the skin and enhance a product’s texture

See the full INCI list below:
Water(Aqua), Glycerin, Butanediol, Hyaluronic Acid, Small Molecule Active Peptide, Argireline, Arnica Extract
My thoughts
Let’s start with what I like about the Project E Beauty Intensive Eye Repair Essence
The formula is very refreshing and cooling. In the morning, when my eyes are tired (which is always, lol, hello adulthood), this eye essence is a welcome treat, as I instantly feel invigorated. I often don’t get a good night’s sleep, so this cooling sensation is truly lovely in the morning. I also think this eye essence delivers some hydration throughout the day.
I’m not so keen on the formula. It’s very runny, so this product often runs down my face when I apply it to my under eyes. I have to work really quickly for the product to absorb, and even then, the essence is still prone to dripping down my face a bit. I’d prefer if this had a serum-like texture, so the product stays in place when I apply it.
I’ve personally not noticed any improvement to puffiness, fine lines, wrinkles or dark circles since using this eye essence. Although, in fairness, I’ve only ever used one eye product that genuinely helps brighten my eye area.
Rating: 3 stars
This isn’t a bad product by any means, but it’s not been a game-changer for me.

My thoughts
I’m a sucker for a good moisturiser, and the Project E Beauty Nourishing Facial Moisturizer has been a hit so far.
This moisturiser has a rich, silky texture, but once applied to the skin, feels almost more like a gel, as it absorbs very quickly and easily. It feels super lightweight on my skin, which I adore. Nobody wants to feel like they’re wearing a greasy, slippery moisturiser that just sits on top of their skin!
I definitely agree that this moisturiser delivers hydration and nourishment all day. There’s a wonderful smoothing element to this moisturiser as well. If I wear this before applying makeup, I know I’m going to have a great base day.
I’ve not noticed any anti-ageing benefits. But at 26, it’s not like I’ve got many fine lines or wrinkles anyway, so I’m probably not the best person to measure these benefits. And, I’d rather use a serum to target anti-ageing than buy a moisturiser anyway.
This moisturiser is scented. It’s not strong, but there’s a subtle sweet fragrance. I love it! The scent doesn’t linger on my skin after applying the cream, though, so don’t worry if you hate fragrance that sticks around.
Rating: 4 stars
I’m enjoying using this moisturiser so far. It makes my skin feel moisturised, soft and smooth.

My thoughts
I love the Project E Beauty Hydrating Facial Toner. This is honestly such a treat for the skin.
After dampening a reusable cotton pad (eco-friendly cotton pads all the way!) with the toner, I gently sweep this all over my face. My skin immediately feels soothed, calm, hydrated and refreshed. Instantly, my skin is nourished and invigorated. I look forward to using this moisturising toner every morning, as it makes a big difference to my skin.
Out of the 4 products Project E Beauty sent me, this one is the most heavily fragranced. It has a strong, sweet scent that you can smell as soon as you twist the cap off. I think the gorgeous fragrance really adds to my morning skincare routine. The scent disappears after a few minutes of applying it.
The toner also feels lovely and lightweight on the skin, while somehow feeling creamy. It’s an intriguing mix. And I’m here for it. Yassss give me all that dewy, nourishing goodness!
Rating: 4.5 stars
For all of my fellow hydration obsessives, I’m sure you’ll be a big fan of the Project E Beauty Hydrating Facial Toner.

Project E Beauty Enrich Foaming Wash 150ml
Project E Beauty Enrich Foaming Wash claims
The Project E Beauty Enrich Foaming Wash promises to easily remove dirt, excess oil, and makeup. It claims to be gentle without stripping the skin, while maintaining the skin’s natural protective barrier. This cleanser is supposed to leave your skin feeling clean, refreshed and calm, not dry. Project E Beauty says the face wash is suitable for all skin types.
Key ingredients of Project E Beauty Enrich Foaming Wash
Excluding water, the top 5 ingredients in the INCI list are:
- Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES): a cleansing agent that produces a foaming/lathering effect
- Sodium cocoyl glycinate: a cleansing agent with a creamy lather feeling

- Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS): a cleansing agent that’s widely known to have a sensitising effect and irritate the skin
See the full INCI list below:
Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Sodium Cocoyl Glycinate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Glycerin, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamide Dea, Citric Acid, Aroma, Methylisothiazolinone, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Disodium Edta
My thoughts
I’m just going to be honest here and say that I’m not a fan of the Project E Beauty Enrich Foaming Wash.
It contains sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), which is automatically a big no for me. SLS is a widely known skin irritant and sensitising cleansing agent. This means your skin will likely feel stripped and sensitive if you use a product with SLS in it.
Unfortunately, this was the case for me when using this cleanser. My skin felt quite tight and ‘squeaky clean’, which isn’t a great skin response after using a cleanser. I don’t think this face wash meets the claims of being gentle and non-stripping, as from the inclusion of SLS alone, this is counterintuitive.
It’s a shame, as some of the ingredients are really nice. I love glycerin, for example! In terms of effectively removing dirt, makeup and excess oil, this cleanser does work to an extent, but it feels too stripping.

I’m not a fan of this product.
Overall review of these Project E Beauty products
Overall, my Project E Beauty experience is positive. The eye essence isn’t my favourite, and I’m really not a fan of the cleanser, but I really like the moisturiser, and I love the toner.
All 4 products contain glycerin, which is fab. Glycerin is a fantastic hydrating ingredient, and my skin gets on really well with it. Plus, I’ve got a hydration obsession at the minute (don’t we all?!), so glycerin is right up my street. If you’re after #dewyskingoals, you’ll vibe with Project E Beauty’s moisturiser and toner in particular.
While these products aren’t really high-end, such as brands like Augustinus Bader, Chantecaille or Dr. Barbara Sturm, they’re still on the pricier side. But, as always, affordability is subjective. I’d be happy to purchase the moisturiser and toner with my own money.
